Saving Spalding Pets

I am part of a volunteer group of people dedicated to rescuing animals awaiting death by "gas chamber" methods. These are the animals at one such shelter, the Spalding county animal shelter in Griffin, GA.

AO6-1595 GREAT DANE MIX-OWNER SURRENDER-RESCUED!

This handsome boy is just a pup about 6 months old. He has the mantle coloring and physical likeness of a Dane, although doesnt appear to be as large as a PB Dane. He is available NOW and his last day is listed as JUNE 27.

There are times I would like to beat the c**p out of these people who just go & dump their animals, even tho I am not a violent person. I hope this precious baby finds a wonderful forever home.

we need to get a law passed in Ga that mandates owners get their pets spayed and neutered, New Mexico has passed such a law.

I do not understand when people come to shelters to dump these poor sweet animals they should be fined and charged a fee until their pet finds a home. I am sick and tired of people dumping innocent animals some of them are pregnant which makes it more sickening it is not the animals fault it is the lazy irresponsible pet owner their are a lot of low cost spay and neuter groups if these lazy people would take the time to find them. This has to stop make pet owners accountable!!!!!
